Mark joined Elkington and Fife from the London Office of Clifford Chance where he was the Managing Director of the Trade Marks Group. Mark has substantial experience in relation to the clearance and prosecution of trade marks in the UK, Europe and worldwide, the negotiation and drafting of settlement agreements in relation to trade marks, and due diligence. He also has extensive experience of handling the prosecution of Community Trade Mark and International applications under the Madrid Protocol and the handling of both UK and Community Trade Mark oppositions. During his career, Mark has handled trade mark matters and largescale trade mark portfolios for clients operating in a diverse range of fields, including the beverage, tobacco, food, confectionery, film and TV, entertainment, pharmaceutical, financial, automobile, engineering, publishing and software and hardware industries. Mark is also actively involved with the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys.
