Personal Assistant - Sevenoaks

Are you a proven administrator looking for a new long-term role?

We are seeking a bright, enthusiastic and reliable administrator to join one of our patent teams, based in our Sevenoaks office. You will be working for a partner and other attorneys who prosecute patents for large and small clients. You must have an enthusiasm for learning, as this role can be complex and will not be learned in a few weeks.

Key responsibilities are:

  • Carrying out all administrative tasks associated with the relevant partner’s area of responsibility.
  • Keeping all necessary records of relevant dates and maintaining a diary in conjunction with the partner or other fee earner.
  • Preparing accurate invoices to be sent to clients.
  • Where authorised, taking instructions from and dealing with clients’ enquiries by email and phone.

You will be fully trained in our systems and procedures.

We will expect you to be able to prioritise work according to clients’ needs, be adaptable and provide assistance to others in your team when necessary, cope with pressure and be organised in your work.

You will need to maintain a high standard of typing, spelling and grammar in all correspondence, deal professionally with incoming and outgoing email and ensure that all deadlines are met.
