Jamie was awarded a First Class BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from Newcastle University in 2018.
During his final year Jamie undertook a research project at The University of Münster in Germany, investigating biocompatible nanoparticles for the delivery of therapeutic nucleotides to treat cystic fibrosis. Jamie also spent a year in Sweden working in early-phase drug discovery for an international pharmaceutical company, evaluating new technologies to improve accuracy and reduce costs in drug development.
Before joining Elkington + Fife as a Technical Assistant in 2019, Jamie spent several months working in a tech transfer role for an AgriTech institute. Prior to that, he completed his MSc in Management of Intellectual Property at Queen Mary University of London, where he achieved a Distinction and the highest overall mark.
