Technical Assistant
LinkedIn Profile

Annie holds a PhD in Bionanotechnology and an MRes in Chemical Biology (Distinction) from Imperial College London, following a degree in Chemistry (1st Class Honours) from the University of Sheffield.
During the final year of her undergraduate studies, Annie developed biomimetic delivery vesicles for magnetic hyperthermia cancer treatment.
Annie’s PhD research focused on the development and application of methods for single-cell analysis and biomarker detection. She used these techniques to study RNA compartmentalisation in neurons and mitochondrial dysfunction in Parkinson’s disease. Following this, she was awarded an independent Post-doctoral Research Associate grant by the Wellcome Trust and UKRI to investigate the role of RNA regulation in learning, memory and neurodegenerative diseases.
Annie joined E+F as a Technical Assistant in April 2025.
