Ella studied Chemical Engineering in France (equivalent M.Eng.) with a Erasmus semester in the University of Manchester and a research project in Japan.
Following her studies, Ella conducted research in Japan for a few years, working in plasma technologies applied to the Semiconductor Industry in collaboration with Japanese Universities such as the University of Kyoto.
Most recently, Ella joined the CDT of Bioenergy in the University of Leeds, where she is completing a PhD with integrated masters which is focused on converting energy from waste using plasma-catalysis technologies. During her PhD, she undertook research projects at the University of Sydney (Australia) and Tsinghua University (China), working on the preparation of mesoporous catalyst and on the effect of plasma treatment on catalyst respectively.
Ella joined E+F as a Technical Assistant in 2019.
