Henry’s practice is centred on drafting and prosecuting patent applications, with the majority of his time spent preparing new patent specifications and handling their prosecution. He has experience rapidly assimilating complex inventions across a diverse range of technologies and translating them into clear and technically rigorous patent applications. His drafting work is recognized by both inventors and in-house patent counsel for accurately capturing inventions, adapting effectively as the commercial or technical scope develops, and delivering high-quality work within demanding timescales.

Henry’s technical background is principally in physics and computing. His practice has covered medical imaging technologies, including ultrasound and MRI; autonomous vehicles; neural networks and other computer-implemented inventions; semiconductors and transistor technologies; lighting and optics; medical sensors; image analysis; and a broad range of consumer electronic devices.

Henry joined Elkington + Fife in 2022 and qualified as both a UK and European Patent Attorney in 2025. He holds a BSc in Physics from the University of Warwick, where his final-year studies included work on the optical properties of perovskite crystals.
