Henry Hinder

Henry spends the majority of his time drafting and prosecuting new patent applications, and has experience across a wide range of different technology fields.

His technical background lies predominantly in the areas of physics and computing. Some example technical areas his practice has covered include medical imaging (ultrasound and MRI), autonomous vehicles, neural networks, semiconductors, transistors, lighting and optics, medical sensors, as well as various computer-implemented inventions, image analysis, and a broad range of consumer electronic devices.

Before joining Elkington + Fife, Henry graduated from the University of Warwick with a BSc in Physics, with his final year studies focused on the optical properties of perovskite crystals. He joined the firm in January 2022 and qualified as a European and UK Patent Attorney in 2025.
